DS1337S+ soldering

With my Dallas DS1337S+ real time clock ICs arriving last week, I soldered one to my Solder Time II board. Below are some photos of the result.

Note the crummy-looking solder work on some of the caps/resistors reflects my first attempts at SMT soldering.

Not too bad for -14°C with fingers like icicles.

What appears to be excess solder under the SSOP’s gull feet is actually flux goop. Solder was used sparingly.
